El Kebeer is frightened by the spread of Johnny's election campaign posters throughout the Mazarita and tries to push the people of the town to vote for him and not for Johnny, but Johnny succeeds in gaining new lands, and the final blow comes to El Kebeer when he saves a man from suicide, and Johnny wins a sweep and becomes the new mayor of Mazarita.‎
